Some Changes Going Forward! (Patreon)

Hello Patrons! 

My Robatsu, Chapter 2 just wrapped up and I wanted to take this moment to outline some changes I want to make. I’m always trying to find ways to improve the way I tell stories, and sometimes that means overhauling the format. Below, I will outline changes I'll be making to the $6 Humongous Katsu and $10 Great Katsudon Tiers that My Robatsu can be read in!

Over the past few months, I learned a lot about writing, but most of all, I learned that I am a faster, better drawer than I am a writer. That is why going forward, My Robatsu is changing into a comic format, a format that I am more confident and skilled in. My Robatsu will also be renamed to Hey Robatsu to separate itself from the old format. Here's the first page of the new chapter, so you can see a bit of what to expect in the new format!

I want to address another change. Going forward, there will not always be a porn scene every month. Originally, I wanted each month to be dedicated to a chapter, but I’ve found myself struggling to pace the story within the 3-4 updates every month to lead up to a porn scene. Because of this, I couldn’t dedicate enough time to explore the existing and new characters, and I felt that the pacing suffered and didn’t lead up to a porn scene that was earned. I know that this might not be a popular decision, but I am absolutely confident that this change will greatly improve the quality of the story and lead to better porn scenes with more emotional weight to them in the future!

"But won't this affect the $10 Great Katsudon Tier?!"

Yes, consequently, due to this change, there won’t be a porn scene to have an extended version of every month, but fear not! I've had thoughts about making the Great Katsudon tier less dependent on the content of the Humongous Katsu tier for a while now. You may remember in February, I did a special short story called Mohinya’s Travelogue. I won't continue it, but I want to make a new, better variation of it.

Mutuals Only is a new series of content that follows Mohinya and his After Dark social media account where he posts exhibitionist and voyeuristic pictures twice a month! You'll receive illustrated, shaded pictures of Mohinya on his naughty escapades! I don't have a sample to show off, but you can expect the first post within the coming days!

I am confident that these changes will better improve the quality of my Patreon content and I hope you’ll enjoy them too. To summarize:

$6 Humongous Katsu Tier: 

• My Robatsu is being renamed to Hey Robatsu. 
• The short story format is changing into a 2-4 page weekly comic format. 
• There won’t be a porn scene every month, but when it happens, it’ll be much better. 

$10 Great Katsudon Tier: 

• Because of no porn scene every month, this tier’s reward will no longer be tied to Hey Robatsu. There will be no more extended porn scenes exclusive to this tier.
• This tier is getting a new standalone content called Mutuals Only, which will happen twice a month. You’ll follow Mohinya’s social media as he goes on his exhibitionist/voyeuristic escapades. 
• These new illustrations will be full colored and shaded, and of course very NSFW~
