This is it. This is officially my favourite IU album ever. One of the best albums I've listened to this year. Period.

thank you soooo damn much for spoiling Uaenas every Sunday! My favorite song from first listen from this album is actually Love Alone. Here's few fun facts. dlwlrma - IU wrote it thinking of giving it to ohmygirl, IU thought the song fits them. OMG actually recently made a cover of this song :) ending scene - the guy in the MV was actually Korea's highest paid actor and a very good friend of IU. They met during IU's first ever k-drama dream high. Cant love you anymore - lol you need to check out the MV for this, it's so silly considering 2 great artists joined forces to made it haha. Oh Hyuk is from the band HyukOh. IU and him met during the show infinite challenge. Jam Jam - One part of IU's first ever movie film "Persona" was sort of based here. You also should check out Persona. Through the Night - won her lyricist of the year back in 2017 and it was the first time the award was given to a singer and not typical lyricist Dear Name - is also a title track, alongside Palette I'm excited for Love Poem album review!

Lachie, like you I totally love this album. I discovered IU last year during the start of the pandemic. I don't even think I knew of IU then. Anyways, to make a long story short, I saw her drama, You are the Best on Youtube and was intrigued. I looked her up and saw her video of Ending scene and I was hooked! the first line of the chorus did it for me. Her vibrato on the word ha jima was sooo gorgeous and in my mind i was saying to myself, how have I not heard of this woman??? But here I am today loving her discography, her personality and just how funny and down to earth she is.

Thanks Lachie for doing this album listen. In terms of songs I gravitate towards off Palette the only one I dont really listen to on a regular basis is Dlwrma but aside from that this album in my opinion is easily one of the best Kpop albums I have ever heard.

this album has been one of my favorite albums of all time since it first released. every song flows very smoothly to the next one and i feel like it's one of those albums where not only does every song show how amazing IU is as a singer technically but accentuates her ability to emote through her singing. thanks for the album listen lachie.. p.s. dear name and ending scene are two of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard
