Shiiit y'all these stages were something ELSE. I can't wait to see the vocal lines and what they have to bring, but I think it really goes without saying that they're all winners in my eyes. This is honestly just so hard to judge though like...I feel like this is way less about skill and rather about personal taste in how you'd evaluate these because ???? they all go fucking off ????

Zuho, told us during a live that he wanted Hwiyoung to participate to the rap unit, to show what he was capable of, and that he was super proud of him. But I'm still mad at Mnet for forgetting Youngbin when they listed the rap line of SF9. Yoo Taeyang, Donghyuk and Juyeon, had to quarantined for 10 days, because one of their dancer, contracted cov. So during that time they stayed in contact, and played Minecraft they even build a house for them three to live together.

Ok this is about to be a rly long comment cuz i'm so stoked about this performance haha! In my opinion, I totally understand why Mayfly won, but It's One's rap stage had the most meaning to me personally (as a deobi). First off, idk if you noticed but Full DaSH is intentionally capitalized that way because when you say it in Korean, it sounds like "F**k Dat Sh**"! They're basically dissing the competition aspect of the show and saying that they do what they want to. Also idk if you noticed Hwiyoung biting his glove by the middle finger as they put on the robes. On a vlive, Bobby said that he originally didn't want to rap, but after seeing how excited/passionate Hwiyoung and Sunwoo were, he changed his mind! Bobby was really such a great mentor to the 2, he gave them the verses (the most important parts) and let them do whatever they wanted with them cuz he knew they don't get to do that in their groups. As a deobi I can say I've almost NEVER seen sunwoo so genuinely excited on stage, just yelling and rapping his heart out next to Bobby, one of his idols! When he said in the pre-interview "I'm so happy. I never knew I could be this happy in a competition" I almost started crying because I know how much pressure they were under after RTK, especially since they haven't been doing as well on Kingdom. Seeing him have the time of his life and showing his amazing talent to the world makes me so happy! Even though they lost, it's a win for me (like his members said, as long as Sunwoo is happy, we are happy) I will say that objectively, I would've given the win to Mayfly as well for the rap round. It was so clean and cohesive with a deep meaning and amazing rap! In my opinion though, It's One took the dance round. I just feel like the Mayfly was more of a cover? And it was a bit too busy for my taste? The artistry, storytelling, and originality of It's One's dance really sold it for me. Anyways I'm so sorry for the long comment but I could talk forever about this show lol.. excited for you to see episode 8!!

I forgot to mention also there's a theory that Bobby is wearing color while Hwiyoung and Sunwoo are wearing black and white because Bobby has already found his personal color as a rapper while Hwiyoung and Sunwoo have yet to.idk I thought that was pretty cool lol

woah, i completely agree with you! I'm an ikonic and felt so grateful that there are people like sunwoo that look up to bobby because bobby often said that the influence he has is the most important thing for him and seeing others learn from him to just enjoy the stage without worries was so wholesome to see... I guess, Mayfly's performance suited the kind of show kingdom is better than iT'S one and they were really good, so I understand why they won. But like you already said, I think jutaehyuk's dance should have won because it is so delicate and beautiful, the concept was so special and well executed, I still get goosebumps even though I watched it more than 10 times. And while I understand that hard-hitting choreos and music is the trend nowadays, I still prefered this contemporary kind of style because it left such a big impression on me...

Did you end up watching the performance film from ep 0 of kingdom? Just quick performances from each groups dancers, and is pretty cool

Even though Taeyang, DK, Yunho, and Felix are my biases for their respective groups, if I look without bias, I personally enjoyed JuTaeHyuk way more than Mayfly. Wolf is still, years later, one of my least favorite EXO songs and I felt like the performance was more of a cover. I think both the performances were out of sync at certain points so I don't think one was better than the other in terms of that. So for me the creativity and storyline and music of JuTaeHyuk was superior and it was so pretty. It was totally my style. The expert choice will definitely be based more on personal taste and I think my taste is in the minority so I'm not expecting them to win the round.
