This is IU's first self produced album when she decided that she had to take control of her music. I loved Knees so much and Zeze. They are my favorite songs from this album.

Thanks for this man! I think am gonna stick around for IU Sundays :) I love all the songs but I would say Red Shoes had to listen to it for a few times. Hope you do the Modern Times next! Enjoy your day!

Yay!! IU Sunday, thank you that makes me sooo happy, I'm soooo here for all the IU content <3 Knees was inspired by IU's childhood with her grandmother. It's one of her top "insomnia" songs. Glasses was about her mother's poor eyesight except she used glasses as a metaphor of not wanting to have clear eyes that will only see the ugly side of the world. She'd rather not have glasses or wear glasses, somewhere around that context. And Zeze is quite controversial (for shallow people lol) it's a masterpiece that only those who are open-minded gets to appreciate. Red Queen is interesting because it was inspired by Sulli's painting, I hope you read the lyrics for this song in your own time because it's actually a beautifully written song, it's understandable that the melody isn't for everyone, I had the same impression first time I heard the song lol but after couple listen plus knowing the story and meaning behind the song changed how I hear the song :) Chat-shire is her first studio album where all the lyrics of each songs were written by her 23 year old self. Fun fact: In her last studio album prior to chat-shire which was Modern Times, the last song in the album is titled Wait which lyrics was also written by IU. It's super short and the last word in the song was "wait". And then in the song Shoes which is the first song in her Chat-shire album the first line says "Hello, did you wait long?". Yeah she genius!

I'm definitely for an iu Sunday. I think the Shower has a special clip where you can see 3 iu singing together. This also has a story, it was propose in a show called Infinite Challenge where multiple producer had to write a duo song with a comedian for a festival, but the song was rejected so she wrote Leon, which is as of now the song with the most weeks as number 1 (yes she is a genius), you should definitely check Leon it will fit you're style I think. Also the other producer where JYP, GD, Zion T, and others I can't remember. My fav of the album is Zeze even though she had to make an official apology for the "Climb on me" line, but this album is a no miss for me. For the next album I vote for Palette. Modern Times come from the movie with Chaplin it's a more swing jazz type album. Flower Bookmark is a serie (there is 2) where she sang cover of old songs she never covered before. There will probably a 3 coming, maybe next year?
