adding this for everyone who maybe skipped the intro or haven't watched the episode yet; don't spoil anything! I remember when I watched this for the first time and I didn't know anything about the final line-up (and this was two years after it had aired and I had just gotten into k-pop so I didn't recognize anyone except BoA lmao) and it's such a special feeling to watch something like this for the first time and not know the final line-up. please be respectful in the comments and don't bring up your favorite contestants and so on, as it may spoil that that contestant isn't getting eliminated for example. but dude I'm so excited to watch this with you! let's goooo!

I think a lot of the trainees there hadn't debuted yet so they still had that naive mindset that once you debut and if you last as long as Nu'est had at the time (6 years) then that means you're successful which is why they were saying it felt like cheating. Through out the show as they all get closer with each other I think they learn what really goes on behind the scenes and what position Nu'est was in that lead them to be on P101 so don't worry too much about the not so stellar reactions from other trainees about them being on the show. Also, I know you know Mnet is trash and a whole snake but please do be cautious of evil editing because it is abundant in this series.

I believe Yue Hua has Uniq, which promotes in China and Korea (?) but I'm not familiar with their music. I know that Woodz is in that group.

Yess Broduce! I'm so excited. Just a heads up, the evil editing in this season is,, next level. They pushed very hard for some trainees, and made others look like a**holes if they were getting too popular. I can't wait for the next episode tho! This is the only season I've seen all the way through, I originally watched it for Nu'est, but I've been meaning to rewatch for Kang Daniel so this is the perfect opportunity. Hope you enjoy it!

I'm happy to rewatch this 4 years later. I had some bad impression about some trainees back then, and I wanna see if it was just me at that time, or mnet evil editing or if I still feel that way rewatching this. Also some of them were so young so maybe they had a different mindset ? idk, we'll see!

Hi! I just subscribed to your patreon literally just to watch produce reaction. To clarify your confusion at the end, the nayana performance was released a month before episode 1 even broadcast. so basically viewers already know who the center is, which trainee will be in class A, B, C, D and F (appearance during nayana performance is based on class). There was also episode 0 released before the show officially starts where all the trainees introduced themselves. (the brand new trainees introductions that you watched at the end were part of it). Hence, when voting were open at the beginning of episode 1, viewers basically already have their favorites. thats how they determine who to vote for while episode 1 still ongoing. Park Jihoon who was at 1st place went viral with his wink during nayana performance one shot ending. Moonbok because a lot of korean remember him from his superstar k audition.

the evil editing is no joke, like, NO JOKE. But it's Mnet we can't expect them to not pick a poor soul and turn the viewers against them. So yeah, i'm so happy to rewatch it along with you!!!
