Well guys, another really really awesome episode with some dope as interactions. The competition aspect is sure rearing its head, but I am honestly just really glad that they're all so motivated to continue on and do more! I guess at the end of the day as performers they always strive to grow within their field regardless of their rank, age in the industry or their stature - I'm so excited to see what they all have waiting for us! I hope you guys enjoy this one ❤️

Loved your pre-reaction and agree with what you said 100%! All I hope is everyone stays safe, but that's something performers are willing to risk to give such an amazing performance. It's similar to athletes. That risk is simply there when you commit hard.

I would love more pre-reaction talks! I would be really interested to know if there is criteria the professionals are judging on, or if it is just personal preference. In my opinion, all six of these performances were excellent. The only way I can rank them is to nitpick the tiniest details, and frankly I’m just here to have a good time. Well done to all our competitors, can’t wait for next week!

SF9 was 100% my favorite performance: it was really really coherent, they took the core theme/concept and expanded on it in a really clear and elegant way. It had enough of the pizazz, like you mentioned, to feel like a special performance (that they might not otherwise have been able to do outside a gayo) without throwing so much stuff in that my attention and interest was dragged 20 different directions and then fell away. It also was really smart in the way OMG's Destiny performance was, in that they deliberately focused on their strengths and played to them in a really effective way. I'm just boggled that no one voted them TTnTT

Okay, I want the competition part removed hahah it's breaking my heart. I didn't know half the groups prior to this and after this episode I felt like I got to know them so much better and respect them, one being SF9 especially. I really, really loved their performance!! Then again, I loved EVERY single performance. Can everyone be first plaaace? Ugggh T_T

my only problem with the "experts vote" is that it hasn't been disclosed who the experts are, at least not to the public. I really hope the groups know who the experts are otherwise there's a big transparency issue and that would suck and would take away the fairness of that part of the evaluation, but is mnet so I wouldn't really be surprised if that were the case

I think in the episode they said they were going to say who the experts are later on. I think...

Every group in this round came for blood, like everyone was stellar. When I watch this show I mostly watch for the behind the scenes and the performances and interactions, but not the rankings because I hate rankings and especially as a stan of all of these groups rankings hurt my heart. For me, I think my favorite performance this round was ATEEZ. Personally, I love drama and really big theatrics (probably the theater kid in me) and ATEEZ’s performance had everything I love watching in big productions. Of course it is my own personal taste, but every group did the damn thing and ate that stage up leaving no crumbs and I am so proud of every single one of them!!!!

About what I said about TBZ Performance in the previous comment section. This episode made me realize what exactly my problem was. Stage Design, Probs and Stunts are supposed to enhance a Performance, not be the main focus. SKZ nearly did too much but their great camera work focused perfectly on the Members so it didn't distract me from their Performance. That wasn't the case for TBZ. I was more focused on basically everything else more than their dancing and singing which is sad because they were amazing.

What we didn't see in this episode is that Youngbin from SF9, also hurt his foot in addition to Jaeyoon hurting his knee. SF9's performances was about the story of Snow white mixed with the 7 sins and the movie/novel "Perfume: the story of a murderer" where a man killed women to get their scent and make a perfume. FYI it's a very disturbing movie/novel. For me, SF9's managed to tell a story very clearly, and I appreciated the way they used the props, like the scarf to represent blood and the one-way mirror. It wasn't to distracting, just enough for me to enjoy their performance. I didn't think that Now or Never could sound better, but the orchestral version was so incredible. But the camera worked wasn't the best for some scene like the jump of Jaeyoon, it's way more impactful when added to Yoo Taeyang solo dance, when it' s filmed from the front as seen in their dance practice. Personally I prefer performance where there isn't too much props, or things happening in the background, because it can be quite distracting, and can make the performance overall kind of messy, and the story difficult to understand. My only issue with Kingdom is mnet, all those 6 groups are really talented and you understand why they are here, but mnet is playing so much dirty games on those groups who really don't deserve any of that. From the lack of "communication" about the budget of the stages, Ateez waiting room, posting only a one second video of the performance of SF9 on Naver and only changing it the next day, to change the dates of views count without announcing it. You kind of understand why the show don't have much audience in South Korea.

My favorite was iKON. I think it's the emotional attachment plus the fact that Love Scenario is one of my personal favorite songs of all time. And the more I see SF9's the more I am drawn to it over others. It doesn't matter though. The ranking's stupid anyway. All the groups are ridiculously talented and fantastic performers no matter how long they've been in the industry. I don't think I've been disappointed in a stage yet. And based on the way ep 4 went I'm not going to be disappointed at all.
