THE PLOT THICKENS and I am 100000000% here for it! I loved the first episode of this drama so much that I rewatched it again before episode 2 because I was so pumped...

I'm really facing the 'drama-dilemma' right now though where I have to exercise some restraint in wanting to absolutely BINGE WATCH the hell outta this 🥺🤡 I wanna, but I can't, but I can, but I can't but I wanna...you know what I mean?

Enjoy this episode today y'all! Big love to you and give it a like to let me know if you've watched it! Also I read all of your comments on the previous episode and it made me so happy to see so many of you so excited to watch this with me 😭 Lets have heaps of fun! ❤️

Watching this again is a blast. So much fun to watch the gears turn as you try and figure out this world and whats really going on.

The Tiger coupled with the old manager passing on is when you know this show is going to be special.

I first watched this drama about a year ago, but it's so fun watching this again with you! As you saw in this episode, the show is pretty good at answering logistical questions bit by bit, but then the bigger answers will be slowly revealed over time. And it goes to show how amazing the storytelling is when you tear up twice in the episode, once for Manager Noh, and once for the tiger. It just hits you, kind of unexpectedly.

This drama is really well written. It can make you cry & laugh in the same scene. And everything is in the details. About the old manager (Jung Dong Hwan) he was also in a previous drama with IU, but unfortunately he died too in the beginning. But he became close friend with her and she refer to him as his acting mentor, she would often called him to talk about acting.

Ugh, this is so good! I’ve never watched a kdrama before so I wasn’t sure what to expect and I am all in! Not only is the story really interesting & the acting top notch, the whole aesthetic of the drama is fantastic. From the sets to the videography, the lighting, everything is just so well done. And I’m loving IU’s character, she so complex...and I’m telling you there is nothing more scary than a woman who (you know) is angry at you but she still talks to you like everything is fine....it’s so much worse than getting yelled at! Although I was low key mad at her for the way she treated the dying manager until they met at the tree after he died. Its interesting, & very entertaining, that everything she does eventually makes perfect sense, like it’s not just for her amusement. I also love that she lets Chan Seong try to figure things out on his own...she doesn’t just tell him why things are happening the way they are. It seems like she even steers him wrong in order to get him to think critically & not just react. And their chemistry is great. Something tells me your wish for them not to fall in love may be falling on deaf ears but we shall see.... On a quick side note in regards to episode 1, why do I get the feeling the old woman she meets is actually her in a different time, like when it’s finally time for her to move on. After the hotel formed & she started walking away said something like... ** come with me (to what/who was in the box on her cart), it’s time to go in peace, the inn has found its new owner **

I love watching your reaction to this drama. The first time I watched it, I was blown away by the whole look of the drama. IU's costume changes ( I believe she had about 120 of them from what I read.) The sets and the acting re all top notch. The chemistry with Yeo Jing goo was fire. Can't wait for the next.

I know it is way too early to say but can you do "My mister" or "Hyori's bed and breakfast" reaction as well? (later of course). I really like your comments and reactions and would love to hear your thoughts on them

To me, My Mister was and still is the best Kdrama for IU. She was sooo good and the story too.

I enjoy watching this with you for the first time! This is another side of IU as an actress I'm seeing and I love how totally different her character is with the one I last saw (My Ajhussi, she's spectacular there btw)... Also, you may not recognize the old woman who gave flowers to the dead ones going to heaven, but she's the same woman on the 1st ep IU met in the middle of the desert. The one who ponted to her where the moon inn was... Lastly, I'm curious cos you haven't mentioned it. Do you know that the hotel staff guy in the front desk was Block B's P.O?

LUC_Rambler

Outside of sporadic MVs, this is the only time I've actually watched any non-music related IU content. Gonna be weird seeing her as an actual human and not a 1300 year old tsundere spirit.

This episode hit me in the feels no matter how many times I've seen it. This whole drama actually. The OST itself makes me so emotional every time I listen to it

I didn't know the guy at the front desk was a member of Block B until like this week! And I did recognise the old woman as well ❤️
