Sejeong showing her kindness with helping Sohye so much shows again how good of leader she is. APink group 2 won it for me. Sistar group 2 won this one. 2NE1 personally group 2 did it for me. SNSD, Into The New World for me was and is one of my most favorite songs so I will be more picky in choosing a group. Yeonjung her vocals won it for me, so group 1 won. About Yeonjung she won the V-1 (2019) vocal competition against Siyeon (Dreamcatcher).

When you HAVE to take a 20 minute break between parts 1 & 2 because you get a notification that Lachie uploaded some Girls Day content on YT......dude you are killing me with this constant barrage of A+ content! But don’t stop..... Literally just had THE “aha!” moment of my life! After you mentioned you didn’t know Push Push I was getting ready to tell you it was their debut song. Then I realized I Don’t Know was Apink’s debut, then Fire, then ITTNW! OMFG....the entire group evaluation was debut songs....like wtf! How did I not see this until now?! This is my 3rd viewing & I just now put it together. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ And there are actually 6 more songs, so 12 more groups yet to perform. With regards to how PD101 compares to PD48, keep in mind the producers learned a lot from this first iteration & the production value got better each season. I agree Chungha’s team got robbed, not that Soyeon’s was bad by any means. I have a rather interesting take on what Cathy did regarding ITTNW but I’ll save it until the last episode because it really addresses the whole PD101/I.O.I. Experience. As far as the host thing, don’t get mad or cringy or whatever when he comes on screen, just look at it as an opportunity to laugh at his over the top nonsense a little....like don’t take him as seriously as he clearly takes himself. Kang Mina nation rise up!!!

I don’t think they show the full performance of Pick Me on the show. You have to watch on Mnet’s channel. It’s a great performance. My favorite thing is you can actually see Yoojung transform from a timid trainee to a confident idol during the performance. There’s a part during the first chorus that they cut to her and you can just see the confidence explode out of her.

Hum Lachie ??? I think you're a bit lost man ahahah! You've only watched 40 out of 100 girls perform. So....... You're in for a ride man ahahah. You haven't seen most of the teams. Just remember : one of the Hot Issue performance is still iconic to this day. Have fun watching it ! ;) I think Chung Ha's team should have won as well, but I think Team 1 of 2NE1 was WAY better than Team 2 (apart from their main dancer, who was really great). Team 2's rapper had a lot of trouble with her pronunciation, and Juna was very shaky through the whole thing...oh well! It still wasn't a bad performance, they had lots of energy. About Chanmi (and any other trainee who acts up a bit in PD101), she stops acting out when we see her afterwards. It's like she was showing too much confidence to compensate for her lack of it. And yeah, she was VERY close to debut in SNSD. In fact, I think she was the very last SM trainee to be cut off from the debut line-up. So, she didn't record Into The New World as a practice or anything; she recorded her parts because she was foreseen as a member, and she just missed out on it at the last minute. As we saw before a few times on the show, she has one of the prettiest voices of PD101, but her connection to the song probably made it pretty hard to perform it...she looked soooo nervous. Also, considering her vocal abilities, I think it's safe to assume that she really did have a throat condition. It sounded...hoarse. Still, she should have taken a back seat if it was the case, not become the main vocalist. That's totally on her...

Before I watch part 2 of this episode.... OMG Team Chungha vs Team Soyeon, arguably 2 of the most talented girls in all of Produce history going head to head. I'm hoping they and their teams perform to my expectations because I'm expecting a King Kong vs Godzilla esque battle.
