WELP. I HATE THE PHOTOGRAPHER. PERIOD.

Thanks so much as always for watching y'all! I feel like this reaction really speaks for itself, but I share a few of my thoughts throughout and at the end of the video!

Can't wait for Episode 3 coming really really soon! I wonder what's going to happen...

Twice comeback stage coming super super SUPER soon too guys!

Until then, take care and I'll see you in the next one! ❤️

Mr Jackpots

Everybody hates the photographer, JYP hates the photographer, but the photographer was right. Welcome to the real world. Jihyo's mother told an interviewer that Jihyo gained a lot of weight before the competition because she was depressed about her original debut falling through. She lost the weight quite quickly after Twice debuted and you know what she looks like now and she's a much faster and more powerful dancer. Kpop is a ruthless, cutthroat business and you have to be perfect otherwise you fail. I know of far worse things done to idols that went way over the line, up to and including physical abuse. Things are changing in Korea but slowly. Women are still very much second class citizens.

This is why we said to save your anger at JYP for the right targets. This photographer is universally reviled among Once. Though, I also wouldn't put it past Mnet to have told her to be as cruel as possible. MNET!!!!!!

I totally get this man, but even if the industry is cut throat I guess it doesn’t mean it HAS to be like that and there is certainly room for it to get better. I mean, we have to deal with the real world being like that but I think rather my point of protest is that it doesn’t have to be that way. And yeah I totally get what you’re saying - there are terrible things that are done to idols and it sucks. I know that my frustration with it simply comes from the fact that I already love Twice, but even being someone who’s familiar with studio photography etc - I still think that you can’t ask for people to be confident and show their true sides to you whilst simultaneously cutting them off at the knees. Thanks for sharing your perspective mate - I really appreciate it!

Hahaha I TOTALLY understand what you guys finally meant. I wouldn’t be surprised at all considering worse things have been done in reality shows like this 💀 I think at times she had some fair criticisms, like saying that Minyoung and Chaeyeon looked a little separated from the group, to borderline berate them like that instead of just stopping at saying so was soooo unnecessary. 😒

ugh i feel you man. i totally get culturally everything is different, but man those comments could mess anyone up. thankfully jihyo seems to have a healthy mindset about her body now. really enjoyed the reaction!

How they made the girls call out the person whose spot they were taking and had them also physically take the necklace from around their necks still makes me furious. AND MAN I can't stand that photographer still, even after all this time. I know MNET's usually films things and edits footage very tensely for the drama and ratings, BUT COME ON. You understand all of that frustration, so I won't comment on it further. I will say though, in a way, I think the dramatic and hateful moments of this survival show probably made a lot of viewers feel more protective and fond of the girls. As for the group pictures, I really didn't think the Major group picture was better. The styling, poses and expressions really didn't seem cohesive to me at all so I was a bit baffled (still am actually) when they were saying that the Minor team photo wasn't as good...... yeah, anyway. OH, can you summarize what the bitchtographer said about Chaeyeon's solo frying pan picture? I've always wondered but I've never been able to find that part with subs...

I am not a violent person. But every time I see that photographer I want to punch her in the face. The speed with which she rips apart the confidence of young people, and then immediately guilt trips them into crying reminds me of an abusive partner that really hurts someone and then tries to ply them with gifts so they don't run away. It's disgusting.
