That was one heck of a big fish... Good thing this suit is stretchy!!
Awr, don't fret, Volkan. There's plenty more fish in the sea. ;9c
I seem to be on quite the streak of bullying my friends, huh? :3c
I sketched this 4 part digestion sequence for Volkan quite a while ago! I just recently had gotten back to finish it up (before taking another 2 week gaming break uwu) and decided to add the fourth panel after I finished the first three! Thought it'd be kinda fun to do a final bullying type pic to show off post-digestion tummy. Seems I can never stop myself from doing that. uwu
You'll find the linework is a tad sloppy at times and maybe I could've done with a little reworking on some parts of the characters, but I think for the time I put in on this batch of images it came out pretty good! I wanted to make Rori's suit super stupidly basic since he's not really a worker or a diver at all, so I gave it a disgustingly simple wetsuit look - while I gave Volkan a personally designed suit that we sat down and designed together! And not to mention for someone who doesn't draw fish very often, I'm just a little proud of how I made it look... like a fish. It's the little things. UwU
And also quite the fun scenario - put Volkan's funny backstory of being a interplanetary marine researcher to use, as well as touched on Rori's silly rebellious (and slightly bratty!!) nature! Decided to make the BG scene a little like a giant tank observation room - Didn't really take too much time thinking about it, since I had other pictures I wanted to get started on, so it's super, super basic |3 But I think it's pretty okay! If you want a funny fact about the BG, the original first panel's BG colors for the tank behind Rori was made by taking several images of a Ghost Leviathan from Subnautica and blending them into a mess of color. Teehee. :3c
I won't lie, I got a little lazy on this one... While I did a bunch of work on the suit designs and I added a simple BG and all that jazz, I really tapped my cheek on whether or not I'd add shading, and whether or not I'd make the style of the pictures match each other - IE: look at that tail! Panel 1 and 2 don't match at all XD Consider this a very sloppily made series of images, but luckily simple enough to make the concept work out <3
