Munnoh (Patreon)

I'm unsure of whether or not I've posted these pictures before! I could have sworn on my life I'd posted these, but I couldn't find them! Consider me stupid if I have posted them at all before, but I'll just go ahead and ignore it and post it again with more detail :0
This is Munnoh! A long while back, I joined my first ever (and more than likely last ever) DnD and created a chumby fighter bunnyfolk character! Long story short, the sessions ended up getting cut short and the DM lost steam - left a bad taste in my mouth, but it helped me realize I'm much happier just making the characters and story instead of playing it x3
As you can see, I had a hard time nailing down how I wanted them to look - the size of the body in comparison to the head was a bit difficult to figure out, but I think as much as I like the 3rd image, the first one probably encapsulates his width a bit more. -w-
Had a bit of fun designing stuff I never design before! You can tell, because of the lack of detail and fun to the armor design XD I wish I knew how to make stuff like this look better but I've not really looked into medieval designs or armor patterns and all that, so I just made a very basic suit that showed off the tummy and left room for movement - something about a Hero's breastplate armor set that only covered the chest, and I designed it to separate for no reason in particular, I swear, nothing bulging would slip between the two sections, that'd be so strange |3
Of course, I had to give em big pawbs, which during the initial stages of the DnD proved useful with grappling, and of course, a big stupid sword, because I like big stupid swords. uwu
Here's a doc I had written up for lore stuff if you're anymore interested in the funny big bunny character:
"Munnoh
> 32 Years
> Male
Munnoh is a quiet, passive individual among groups. His attitude mellows when around friends or fellow animalkin. While confident in his combat abilities, he prefers to disengage any confrontation. If he's perceptive of danger, Munnoh will immediately be on guard, weapon ready - To Munnoh, Action comes before Talk.
Due to past experiences with humans and halflings accidentally hunting some animalkin, Munnoh is instantly wary of any human-like species.
Munnoh, or known as HeavyPaw by fellow animalkin, was born an unusually large bunnyfolk in an isolated woodlands tribe/village with minimal metalwork. His exceptional size compared to his smaller bunny brethren paved way to eventual feats of strength and stature, as well as frightening appetite. It is taboo for bunnyfolk to eat meat; however, Munnoh found it to satiate his enormous size, finally putting hunting in the village to use for more than just protection. Munnoh is a rather quiet type, especially when surrounded by those he does not know, or when in a situation he's not in control of. However, among other animalkin, his warm smile and social attitude tends to shine through.
Training as a hunter along the predecessor village Guardian, SharpEar, as a mentor, Munnoh proved to hold his own in combat as a young bunny. SharpEar stood as Munnoh's father figure - Munnoh's own father had passed due to a beast attack on the village during his infancy. His mother, SilverClaw, and sister, RiverLily, remained; It was a rather small family considering the average offspring for bunnyfolk, but a closely knit one. He would grow close and protective of his sister while his mother helped tend to the village's small farms. His relation with fellow bunnyfolk was one of respect... As he grew, his peers would look up to him, both figuratively and literally. Of course, newer faces would stare at the obscene oddity of a bunnyfolk devouring meat at a mess hall; However, the tribe would slowly grow to embrace the queer palates of the large bunny.
By his later years, Munnoh would find his weight to be a hinderance of dexterity - but what he lacked in grace he made up in weight and power. At the Passing - a ceremony that marked Munnoh as the village Guardian, retiring SharpEar from his position - SharpEar would bestow to Munnoh a massive iron Greatsword to match his strengths. Some in the village would refer to Munnoh as the Iron Wall, standing at a quiet attention, watching the forest around the village with a sharp eye... A deterence for beasts that roamed the area. His large stature, but soft nature, would inspire many after him, including LittleFoot: a rather young aspiring Guardian, whom Munnoh would take under his wing as his own student.
The tribe was a peaceful one, expanding at a snail's rate... however there were dangers apparent in the surrounding area. Beasts, big and small, were both a nuisance and a threat, day in and day out. Munnoh would fend off plenty of smaller beasts from the village... but every now and then, a larger beast would saunter by to be fought back. Amidst these creatures, Munnoh would find odd tracks in the woods... Pawprints in the dirt, huge and deep, at least half a bunnyfolk's size. At night, Munnoh would find shifting in the darkness of the woods, flashes of black fur shinning in the torchlight before vanishing in a flash. Soft grumbling would emit from the trees, and often times a slight blue glow... Something was out there, watching them.
And one Summer's midday, Munnoh set to track the creature after a set of fresh tracks were left the previous night, leaving the village at the watch of the trainee LittleFoot. But, as he was deep in the forest following the path of the creature, he could hear a howl in the direction of the tribe. He rushed back as quickly as he could, but what he returned to was only the wooden and rocky rubble of his former home. The creature had waited for him to depart, and then seized advantage. Homes were destroyed, blood lined the grass... No bodies were found, unless it was the ripped form of a former peer. Devastated, Munnoh searched his own destroyed home for his family, but to no avail. All he could find was his sister's ear-ties, which he donned as a reminder of what he was now fighting for. Vengeful, distraught, purposeless, Munnoh would roam after the beast in search for whatever closure - or end - he would achieve once finally finding the creature that took everything from him.

Not entirely sure if I'll ever pick up this character seriously again, but maybe I'll flesh out some more characters from this story. I thought it'd be a fun gateway into drawing some monstrous designs for animalia they fight against anyways. :3c
