Hi Curtis! I know it's been a while since season 1, so i thought i'd give a small blurb as to why the movie was important for going forward with season 2 in case you need it :) The implication at the end of the movie was that Gojo killed Geto. Geto didnt reveal himself to any of the school crew in season 1, we only see him interact with background characters like restaurant staff, and the curses like volcano head, so(as far as we know prior to the mechamaru fight) nobody knows he is alive that matters, like Gojo. Also, movie introduced us to other characters who may or may not play roles moving forward, like our boy Yuta :)

Honestly I felt like we could have skipped the movie and just gave him the 3 sentence context you just did for season 2. I was surprised people were pushing on watching the movie so hard but it's not a big deal. Just my 2 cents
