I remember when I was watching the Special Features that were on the DVD collection of this series that I had. That their goal was to do a mix of serious episodes that adults and older kids could enjoy. While also having campy, fun episodes like this featuring Batman and Robin, that would appeal to younger kids and people who'd grown up with the Adam West show.

Joker is too much fun to not help but love. I mean I want him to lose, but he's such a damn ball of energy, especially with Hamil as his voice.
