While it's true that the show does lose a special part of itself without Michael, that can never quite be replaced, I think people overall are way too critical of seasons 8 & 9. They may not be *the best* seasons, but they are no more or less enjoyable than any other seasons. So don't let people psych you out too much and create negative expecations; it's still the same great cringeworthy show you know and love!

this is where I stopped watching on my own viewing, when i was young my dad told me pretend this is the finale, micheal scott is the show and its kinda hard to imagine a main character gone. While I know the last 48 epsiodes are not bad by tv standards, never got into seeing the last two seasons. so I will be watching your reactions as a first time veiwing!
