Ultear's story is probably the second most tragic one in the entire show, it's a really hard hitting moment that stays with you. Cobra overheard something during the dragon fight, and looks like hes gonna use that info wisely, the final of the Baram Alliance guilds is gonna make their move soon and they've had over 7 years to prepare

I feel sorry for both Gray and Ultear. Gray feels like people keep dying for him and he blames himself for the deaths of Ul and Ultear. Ultear likewse was guilt ridden and so she chose to redeem herself in the only way she knew how, but not just die, die with the purpose of saving everyone she could. She succeeded. I know she is still technically alive, but you gotta figure most of her lifespan is gone. The Garou Knights did not need to pursue Natsu and co. anymore now that the events that transpired showed they'd done nothing wrong and that it was more on F. Rogue than anyone. You can loosely fault Hisui, but she was taken advantage of and she is young and naive ergo she's prone to err as she grows as a leader. Doranbolt did Jellal and Meldy a solid as well as the royals. He made the problem go away almost as if it never happened and for his part Jellal is allowed to remain wanted/at large. Cobra's wanring more or less told Jellal that Tartaros will likely attempt something soon. They're the last of the big three dark guilds and no one knows hardly anything about them other than their name. Edit: Idk if you remember the scene, but waaaay back when they went to Galuna Island and found Deliora, Lyra, one of Lucy's spirits sang about Ul and Gray's emotional state. It's playing that same song as he bids farewell to Ultear.
