I think this is the only time in One Piece that I completely agree with Sanji; "Yamato-chaan, you should join!!" Why did the navy soldiers even bother to show themselves and point their guns at Blackbeard if they had to ask permission for shooting??

Blackbeard is a devil fruit collector, we've known that for years. He's looking to collect strong DFs that he can use to build up his crew (like how Shiryu has Absalom's clear clear fruit, that's dangerous), and it's not confirmed he's looking for another for himself but many have theorized it for a long time because his jolly roger is 3 headed, and he's the only one to ever consume multiple devil fruits without dying that we know of. Could you imagine him having another one? lol The Seraphims are pacifistas created by Vegapunk to replace the warlord system, and like everyone else said they are a combination of DNA from the Warlords and the extinct Lunarian race (King is the last one, Big Mom wanted him to join her because of that). We saw Kaido and King both escaped Punk Hazard where they were being experimented on. It was discussed back on PH the fruit Momo ate was an artificial devil fruit Vegapunk made, but he claimed it was a failure. Considering the SMILEs Caesar Clown created were only 10% successful with such odd results and side effects, the one Momo ate actually seems very successful, so makes you wonder what makes it a failure for Vegapunk. Of course I read the manga so I'm caught up lol but I'm excited for you to see this new arc! It's going to be crazy animated, and the animation for the upcoming episodes has been fire.
