The scene with F. Lucy in the golden fields is her going to Heaven to be with the other Fairy Tail members. At long last her war is over and she can rest in peace. F. Rogue was a terrible person, but he did offer advice to prevent his own conception by warning Natsu. One year from now, someone or somthing kills Frosche and turns Rogue into an evil man. To phrase it like Yoda: Disturbing this is. Frosche, we must protect. It also came full circle for Zirconis; he liked the name Hisui gave him and he went with it until his death, as his spirit referred to himself as Zirconis, The Jade Dragon. All that said, I get the frustrations of Sting, Rogue, Gajeel, Cobra, etc. They're dragon slayers, yet Dragons stood totally unopposed until Natsu and Atlas Flame knocked Mother Glare and Rogue into The Eclipse Gate. Its not that they won, but more like they survived.

I personally found the decision to make the dragon slayers so WILDLY ineffective against dragons very odd, writing wise. I mean this is quite literally what they've been built up for since episode 1 and...there was pretty much no payoff, they could barely do anything but keep the dragons at bay and survive. Even Natsu had no luck until he was boosted by uncle Atlas. I kinda wish they'd have at least made them damaging enough to put some hurt on the dragons but still be overwhelmed to show the power difference. As it stands right now, they can't even defeat regular run of the mill dragons, how will they stand against the inevitable faceoff with Acnologia, who is leagues and bounds stronger than the rest?
