Actors playing "old" always rings false to me. Half the time it's bad makeup and a corny "hey sunny boy" type voice, but Mahershala Ali really nailed it. The way he moved, the way he talked, the terrific makeup work, everything. I'm glad tv shows are starting to diversify where they film, too. I live in Canada, so it seems like I only ever see NYC or LA in the movies, with an occasional Chicago or Miami. It's really fun to get to see such lush photography for Arkansas, or New Mexico in BB, etc.
