Zeref cultists did up and ruin a lot of lives. Even Zeref himself vehemently condemns what they did in his name. In the grand scheme of things I pin the blame of Simon's death on those same cultists. Brain deceived Ultear and her mother, Ul, he manipulated people like The Seis, Hades warped Ultear's mind even further and she in turn used some sort of black magic to possess Jellal at his behest. All of these people comitted horrible and inhumane acts in the name of a man who never told nor asked them to, in fact their actions appalled him to the point of pissing him off; Hades learned this the hard way. Minerva is one of the better antagonists as she's as much a bitch as she is a cunning and smart when it comes to planning. I felt the exact same as you did when she cheap shotted Kagura and also freely admitted that she tortured Milliana. Fairy Tail: Did we just become friends? Mermaid Heel: Kick that Tiger bitch's ass and we'll talk. This is a me thing, but that heavy orchaestra song it plays during the reveal of the dragons had me thinking the singers were saying "Lots of panties! Lots of pandas!" even though that is clearly not what they are singing. :P

Or maybe dragon slayers can kill them? We have Natsu, Gajeel, Laxus, Wendy, Sting and Rogue. So that's 6 dragon slayers versus 10k dragons. That's just 1.666 dragons each. Easy-peasy.
