One of the many references in this show that I didn't notice until now was that Tarou has 2 Nichijou mini figurines on his desk on top of some envelopes 🤣 Also interesting contrast that you have these people that enjoy their work for various reasons that the years just pass by despite the hardships, and then you have Hiraoka. A realistic spectrum in a workplace xD

At around 32:40 you could see the backsides of them. Apparently based on a reddit thread I found, they have been there since episode 1 in various scenes. Very sneaky 😄
