It's always fun watching these reactions, Ouran always has a unique atmosphere and sense to it compared to a lot of series. Not enough Shojo series have anime adaptations, and some of the big ones that do, like Ouran only have one season even though there's enough content for at least 3 seasons, shows like this aimed at girls are seen as less marketable unfortunately, though, I'd say it's probably better then it use to be now. Alice in Wonderland is pretty popular worldwide, I've actually seen a few Shojo series parody it, Sakura actually had a filler episode that parody it, but that's one of the fillers I had to cut.

I know that’s a shame. With Fruits basket getting the anime reboot doing the whole story, I’m holding out hope that ouran will get that same treatment some day.

same, there's been a ton of surprise revivals lately like Bleach, Urusei Yatsura and the new Fist of the North Star anime, so there's always hope.

Exactly and not sure if you know that Kimi ni todoke was even renewed for a season 3, so looks like Shojo is finally getting a bit more live.

Something that's kind of funny to me is that the manga had a totally different take on the Haruhi in Wonderland story. In that version, it's just a particularly zany reenactment of Alice in Wonderland, with almost all the hosts getting to play Alice at some point throughout the story. (Like, Haruhi's not curious enough to be bothered to follow the rabbit, so the twins have to almost immediately take over.) But I really like the anime's take on it. This more melancholy telling is a really great sendoff into the second half of the series, where there will be a lot more focus on character development and really getting to know who the boys are outside of their hosting personas.

I would kill for another season of Yona of the Dawn. The only thing stopping me from sponsoring it is that I'd hate to leave Curtis on a cliffhanger with no continuation in sight.

Yea, this Alice episode was definitely my favorite so far! I like it A LOT!… Her not willing to be bothered to follow the rabbit is pretty funny, though! 😄
