I actually really enjoyed fairy tail I'm a manga only so was wondering what the overall consensus on the fairy tail anime was btw I think I made it maybe to around this point in the manga if not a bit further because I remember Wendy and not too much after when they went to the other world besides it has no finishing that arc

At this point of the show I'd say I am with you on Carla. She's unfairly mean to Happy. The Edolas Arc was a dark horse arc for me, at first I did not care for it, but after a few re-watches of the series, it moved to an upper-tier, especially with the development of certain characters, the story reminding me of an old school JRPG, and how its another character centric one, only this time its focused on Happy and Carla, and to an extent Mystogan.

well, it was received well enough for it to run for quiet a long time and even to receive a sequel that is still published to this very day (called 1000 year quest). if you ask me, fairy tail can be a bit cheese with it's power of friendship ass pulls sometimes, for example the "we can still fight" moment last arc. don't get me wrong, it's one of my favoritue scenes, but it doesn't really make too much sense if you really think about it. still one of my favorites shows from back in the day.
