The 2 guys that play the opening theme "Negro y Azul" (Black and Blue) are apart of a real corrido-style band called Los Cuates de Sinaloa that are signed to Sony Records. It's basically Mexico's version of gangster rap, but for the cartels. They sing songs about cartels from their region and their exploits (in their case, they sing about the Sinaloa Cartel), and these bands are sometimes killed by rival cartels. They're singing about Heisenberg because he's on the cartel's radar. And only Walter could give a pep talk about a blowfish and Jesse would get psyched lol

Funny thing I worked at McDonald's in the mornings after HS for a bit and in the grill with all the Mexican ladies most didn't speak English and my nickname was Tortuga to them (i walked very slow cause at the time i worked 2 full time jobs and would start my McDonald'sshift after working 10 hours at fedex loading trucks and was just happy to not pass out standing up). Although I never had my head chopped off and put on a turtle, I hope... maybe that's why everyone looks at me funny
