I loved the first movie in this series, then liked the second one even more! And now, the third one is even better than the second!

In my opinion this is the Best Harry Potter movie in the entire series. They’re all good, but this one just amps it up to another level

Vernon is just a terrible person in general. Petunia, I do think hates magic, but I don't think she hated her sister. I believed as of the reading of this book that she only hated magic and took it out on Harry. Dudley is just a brat who's be raised as such. Oh and Vernon's sister, Marge is a mega douche, easily worse than Vernon. Part of me wishes Harry would have been dropped at The Weasley's given how much they adore Harry, but Dumbledore did the right thing, even if the Dursley's are bad people. Mrs. Weasley is simply the best! I adore that woman. Dementors are scary as hell. They may be agents of The Ministry, but they are malevolent beings. I think I said this in Movie 2's comments, but Richard, the actor who played Dumbledore passed away before Movie 3 came out so they recasted Dumbledore. This guy does the role justice imo. He's a lot more vibrant. I'm surprised Vernon surpasses Draco in your hated list. For me, at least Vernon is kind of funny with being the butt-end of the shenanigans he lands himself into. Draco is just insufferably arrogant and spoild. I knew that twist at the end would be a mindfuck for you XD Also points to Snape; he did use his own body to protect Harry, Ron, and Harmione from Lupin's werewolf form.

Ultra Power

Personally I never cared for this one. Idk, it just never really stuck with me the same way the others do. It’s probably my least favorite of the 8, with 2, 4, and 5 being my favorites. I’m glad you enjoyed it though, and can’t wait to see your reactions to the next ones!

This movie is definitely one of the best in the series! Also something I noticed; Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher position is really short lived, considering Lupin was the third teacher in 3 movies, and he resigns at the end there 😅

One part the movie didn't mention which I know as a Dursley hater you'll appreciate is. Sirius actually wrote to Harry on his way home from School that if Harry ever needs him he will come, and going forward Harry tells his aunt and uncle that his murdering, prison escapee, on the run godfather will come and check on him if he finds out he is unhappy. Which scares the 💩 out of them and take care not to be too cruel to Harry from that point onward.

In the book, after Harry falls off the broom and loses the quiditch match, the Seeker for the other team, Cedric Diggory, argued that it wasn't fair and that they should have a rematch. It's such a nice touch that I wish they included.

Have you noticed the openings where they show the Warner Bros logo gets darker and darker as the series progresses? It starts out light and happy in the first movie, and now on the 3rd, it's silver and shrouded in dark clouds. And it'll continue to get darker in each film.

I'm amazed at how much I've forgotten of this movie and just the plot overall. I haven't watched the first 3 films in 10-15 years and I read all the books many times even longer than when I saw the movies, since that was the only way to pass time when I was grounded and I was grounded a lot. It's fun to watch these. I'm still not as much of a fan of the first 2 but the next 2 are so good I can't wait.
