It was satisfying, watching Goldie get his nuts and bolts blown away!... And Grievous ran away once again!

This was one of my favorites. Always a fool for missing friends being reunited stories. R2 and Anakin has been through so much. Same under Luke’s ownership.

I agree with the others in that the General Grievous you see here is a severe downgrade to what he was before, both in the 2003 version of The Clone Wars and (from I heard) the pre-Disney Comics. In 2003 Clone Wars he has been shown multiple times to genuinely hunt and kill groups of Jedi by himself and it’s explained in the old comics that The Separatists “Forces” are actually a bunch of completely separate forces that are only compromised of single style battle units (i.e. Battle Droids, Super Battle Droids, Droid Fighters (what you saw in the hanger) and numerous others types). General Grievous is the one who saw the hodgepodge mess of the Separatist “Forces” and organized ALL of them into a cohesive Force that could take over The Galactic Republic. This show really kicked him at every possible opportunity.

It does fit in with what Mace Windu said in Revenge of the Sith calling Grevious “a coward.” Regardless, Grevious was more of a Saturday Morning Cartoon villain.
