Well it was dumb of Owen to not touch the totem, but like he kinda won that in the end, he got sticky buns AND got to stay on the island, I mean besides Duncan leaving it was a win win for him at the end lol

To answer a question you asked, If all my friends jumped off a cliff, i would do so. They are very reasonable people, among whom are people who know a ton about wilderness survival and i have experts in many other fields among them. If they did so, they probably had a good reason.

But, if you read the headline "20 people jump off bridge, the remaining people on the bridge..." do you think that is followed up by anything positive? I know that my senses are to some degree likely to be screwed by biology, chemistry or physics. What is the likelihood that all those other people, who are close enough to me that they can easily talk to me, would be affected by something that doesnt change me. It is more likely that i dont know something or that i am being affected by something.

All depends on how one breaks down a bizarre situation. I have enough confidence in my ability to recognize something as dangerous, that I would be immediately concerned that my friends had possibly tragic extenuating circumstances of some sort… Now, if jumping off, too, could potentially somehow save my friends, then I’d follow suit. But that’s not what we’re talking about here.

Still remember being disappointed by this episode. Not because it was a bad episode, just because I was rooting for Duncan to win. Dude knew how to play the game and barely made any enemies along the way.
