This series is what I consider the model of what a TV series should be.  It maintains good quality through the whole series, it doesn't outstay its welcome and it has a satisfying and conclusive finale.  Very few series do this, many either get axed early or keep running until their audience slowly dies off.

I was a kid when this show aired and I haven't rewatched the whole thing since then. There's something about this ending that hit even harder now than it did then. What a great show. I'm glad you could experience it.

I have been watching this with you throughout S1 and up til now, I still love it. This is a show that I thought it wouldn't be interesting but I was completely wrong. what a fun road trip this has been. The characters, story, design, The Adventures that they all had. This is a Great ending to a Great show.

Even though I know now that Stan ends up fine with his memory intact, that scene right after Bill died still hits me just as hard as the first time I watched it. Also a shame that Hulu seemed to ruin you watching the slideshow of the credits, I recommend checking it out, it’s a lot of fun.

I honestly really loved watching this series years ago, it's one of the best cartoons out there, and it ended so well. Ok so... I'm going to let you know something, Bill may actually still be alive, if you reverse what Bill said as he was dying it's "A-X-O-L-O-T-L! My time has come to burn! I invoke the ancient power that I may return!", there's actually a few comics and books set after the end of Gravity Falls, and one of them reveals that there's a giant god like Axolotl lizard who's the most powerful being in the series, it talked about if Bill wanted to seek redemptions for his crimes he'd have to invoke the Axolotl's name and he'd be made to take a different form in a different time, meaning Bill probably was reincarnated at the end of the series, I highly doubt we'll get a sequel to Gravity Falls because of some behind the scenes stuff. So my best guess is it's referring to Bill being reborn in another series, my best guesses would be Rick & Morty or The Owl House, since I know all three of those series are actually connected together, the creators are all friends and it all happens in the same multiverse. Bill's VA does voice a big character in Owl House, and there's even a small cameo of Bill in Rick and Morty, but this is just kind of speculation now.

Dont forget the Stan theory. I dont hold to it, but it is big enough to deserve a mention. It basically goes that Stan is Bill reincarnated. No reason that you have to be reincarnated as someone who lived after you died.

Jake Young

Such a satisfying show. Had a great mystery. A great payoff and characters that are hard not to love. They also knew when to end it. They ended it on top.

Ultra Power

Thank you for letting me experience this show with you for the first time! I had so much fun coming up with theories and watching the characters grow! Two things I want to point out First of all, Stan wasn’t the only one who fucked up with the sigil. Ford had everything in place, and then provoked him/belittled him for no reason. Really, they’re both at fault for that fuck up. Secondly, if you notice the letter they gave Dipper, Pacifica signed her name with a heart :D Oh and also… “I guess I was good for something after all.” I will admit I started crying at that line. ;-;

Honestly, I wish Stan didn't get his memories back. Taking away the consequences of his sacrifice sort of cheapens the ending to me.

What's taking Gravity Falls place?

Time to binge Gravity Falls again I briefly remember seeing a few episodes and enjoyed them.

I remember a long, long time ago, before I joined Patreon, I had posted Gravity Falls as a suggestion in the comments section on one of your youtube videos. After some time, I thought it was kind of foolish and childish of me to request the show. I originally joined your patreon for Venture Bros and Rick and Morty reactions, and imagine my surprise once I saw you starting to react to Gravity Falls. I really really enjoyed having the opportunity to watch your reactions to the show. And now, looking to the horizon, I can't wait for you to see what's in store for you in your reactions to The Clone Wars series. Thanks for making us smile and laugh for these many years. :)

Now I wasn't really big on cartoons as a kid, and none have really stuck with me, but I have to say 3 that have always been with me are Avatar, Scooby-Doo (the original) and Gravity falls, there something special in the land of toons

SpazBoysComedy

This show REALLY surprised me with how good it is! I expected to enjoy it, but it went well beyond that!

SpazBoysComedy

Avatar was another show that really exceeded my expectations. I was never a huge Scooby-Doo fan, but I'm right there with ya on the other two! 😊

There was a really awesome project after this show finished where they hid the real life statue of Bill Cipher and released clues as to where it was for the community to figure out. When they finally found it, it had a copy of journal 3 and a recording of a lot of the main characters singing we’ll meet again.
