For the first time not a single goblin was slain this episode. But I'm sure that will be corrected in the near future. I agree I like Goblin Slayer too, I mean he just gets shit done and even though he's a bit awkward he's always at the very least nice and caring about other people, or at least tries to be.

Out of all the girls crushing on Goblin Slayer, I think Guild Girl might be my favourite. Priestess is a little young for me, High Elf Archer is too flat for my tastes and is like 2000 years old. Cowgirl is the generic childhood friends who always wins in Harem shows, which I tend to not root for on principle. Guild Girl has a certain maturity and kindness to her personality that I like. And she's quite the looker too.

I like how over time you get tidbits of how other people get on in this world, for example we have the Demon Lord rising somewhere else, and other people dealing with him. Its basically set up as if there's a big "main" story happening completely off screen because this story is only focusing on Goblin Slayer and his romantic...pentagon? octagon? however many gons hes got with all these women fawning over him. On another note, i like how you've grown to be suspicious of people at first but grow to trust them over time. I think the wizard lady just has a strange cadence because of how she has to speak, but shes really cool, and has convenient storage! I wonder if you'll come think the same of her cocky partner, we can kinda see hes not actually an asshole with this episode when hes willing to offer the newbies a spare weapon, though they couldn't wield it, and treating them both when their mission was a success. Lotta little things scattered around this show like that just elevates it above the gorefest you'd think it was by the 1st episode

You know, I've always gotten major Batman vibes from GS. Both are fueled by childhood trauma and have a deep-rooted desire for vengeance. Especially driven in pursuing their goals. Some people would even go as far as to say they've lost their minds. Not to mention they also have a slight harem in their lives.
