Glad you are enjoying this so much there is a movie that takes place RIGHT after the season 1 finale, its a movie but it feels like 1 big episode in the best way Also there is an abridged version that covers all season one done by Grimjack it is on par with SAO abridged or TeamFourStar, I really think you'd enjoy it. it flips everything on its head and manages to make it just as good as the official show.

The Ogre's line about Goblins not being good foot-soldiers is pretty accurate. If anything they're better, raiders, skirmishers and ambushers. They'd never be any use as rank and file foot-soldiers in a Demon Lord's army. Send them to pillage and burn enemy villages to spread fear or create a distraction. Or have them attack enemy supply lines. They're well suited to those kind of tasks. But you put them up against professional soldiers in a line battle? They'll break and scatter.

Really the Slayers little trips aren't adventures at all, they're moreso just extermination runs. It'd be fun to see them go on an actual fantasy like adventure, still, when theres goblins to kill theres no rest

The way Goblin Slayer absolutely disrespects the Ogre in this episode is great also I love the way he used the scroll most people wouldn't think to use it that way but he made a killer weapon

I voted for it Curtis but also the priestess actually used an extra spell she didn't have to protect them from the fireball that's why she was so weak afterwards it could've killed her but she's a tough one so she pulled through the spells she used heal most likely on the elf they found then silence on the goblins and protection x2 so that's 4 and shes supposed to be only able to use 3 she might actually be a broken character if you think about it in dnd terms level her up and she's essentially a healer that can carry at times

Curtis you are being very unfair to Hyenas there. Hyenas are more hunters and fighters than most lions, lions get a lot of their food by being dicks and stealing from other animals. I will allow many things, but not direct disrespect to the Hyena, Nature has disrespected it enough. Just to make it clear how Nature disrespected the Hyena, the females have bigger "penises" than the males and the female has to give birth through it. This kills a lot of offspring and a lot of females.

This is partially based on dnd and if gate works anything like that, it is the highest level spell you can cast and it allows you to go ANYWHERE. In dnd this includes things like going bodily to the afterlife or wherever your god lives. This didnt seem to be quite as powerful, but it is still an incredibly powerful spell, turned into a pressure based water attack.

i also really like how matter of fact/no nonsense he speaks and acts and i love how he kinda grows as a person a tiny bit as the show goes on with just little things he says and does with this group..
