This is a cool, eclectic little party, but for some reason I have a feeling of dread about this particular goblin nest!

The author of Goblin Slayer is a DnD player, and this world is highly influenced by the game, even the very start of the episode showed the gods throwing around the different types of dice normally used in DnD. The sexy witch/wizardess with the pipe is another example, there's a thing in DnD where powerful wizards don't speak carelessly because they might accidentally cast a spell, so she speaks haltingly so as to avoid that, although that's just a guess as is not stated outright. Funny how anime has featured just as much DnD inspiration as western shows in a lot of cases, Overlord being another example.

On the topic of elves being voluptuous. It really depends on the world, in some they are (especially in Harem, Ecchi and Hentai series), in others they're flat like High Elf Archer here. The closest example I could think of that's similar in build is Deedlit from Record of Lodoss War. And even she's not as flat as High Elf Archer (she's just not buxom).

I am a huge fan of this show, glad to see you reacting to it! Season 2 is supposedly coming out later this year. There is also a movie/episode after this season called Goblin Slayer: Goblin's Crown.

A couple little tidbits for this episode. Regarding the witch character, supposedly the smoke she lets out is not actually supposed to be harmful it is a medicinal thing and is good to calm the nerves, or so I've heard. Additionally, you may recognize the voice behind the witch because it's also the voice of Rias from DxD who I know you love.

I love how Goblin Slayer had no interest when they led off with Demon Lord he was like he had no fucks to give then his complete 180 when they mentioned goblins it was like lead off with that next time
