Remember lad, everything that happened to the kingdom was because of Philip. He began it all. I also guess he got what he wanted. Albedo all to herself, with his father's blessing nonetheless. And oh boy, you though Neuronist, the torture specialist, was something else in that department, remember who's going to deal with that fool. Our beautiful yet monstrous prime minister Albedo will use every bit of her intellect to torture Philip Also lad, that little musical number from Renner was done justice from the light novel, because they played out what she was thinking. Basically in the light novel she said something of the following: "I'm so happy right now that i could sing and Dance!" And she did Oh Renner if i didn't knew you're true nature beforehand i would have fallen for her charm like many did lad. Behind that pretty innocent look lies a true monster. Her saying "all i had to do was give up a measly little kingdom" is so messed up because that "measly little kingdom" as she putted was her home filled with people who loved and admired their "golden princess." She's one messed up little puppy. I don't know if you caught it lad, but one of the ice maidens that were guarding the entrance to the throne room told climb that he was the last human already in the castle, basically meaning that Renner had already become a demon by then. A title she deserves even without being one. Lastly that conversation Ainz had with Climb during their "Fight" basically translates too "if we were on any other Isekai anime you would have beat me with the power of love" and to that i say Boy you're not in another Isekai, you're in the overlord world were Ainz Ooal Gown reigns supreme. Phew that was a long rant, but I'm glad you enjoyed this anime lad 😄

There are a few more volumes of the novel that cover the series past this point but no announcement for season 5 of the anime as of yet. Will likely be a couple years before we see it if the time between season 3 and 4 is any indication. Renner was able to get exactly what she wanted, a near eternity with Climb. Furthermore, he'll be completely loyal/obedient to her given that everything/everyone else he ever valued is dead and he thinks she sacrificed her humanity for him. She's probably the scariest character in the show just due to how she's able to manipulate everyone around her in pursuit of her goal, despite having no special powers or authority.

My only real issue with this series is how it handles the all quiet stuff at once mid-season... but to be fair it FORCES you to watch the last episodes back-to-back-to-back-to-back! There's so much little tension between episodes I'm happy someone else couldn't

Honestly I have to say, poor king. He really got the shit deal, first Ainz appears in the world and kills hundreds of thousands, then he has to watch 2 of his kids die before him, then he watches his entire kingdom be ruthlessly destroyed then finally he's killed not by the enemy but his own daughter, his last remaining family member. He was the first to offer his head but the last one to lose it.

Fun fact: Renner didn't change at all, personality-wise, when she became a demon. Everything you saw at the end is just how she is. She is canonically sociopathic, and fits right in with Nazarick. She initially planned on doing the bare minimum while in Nazarick, too. But when Ainz himself stepped in to play that little role, it absolutely PISSED off Albedo and now Renner has to give 200% so that anger isn't taken out on her.

Just incase you missed it. One or two episodes ago Renner poisoned an orphanage. We found out this episode, when Renner talked about poisoning the food. She even asked the women who tended to the orphanage to make sure that they ate the poisoned food.
