This here is an important story that they just cut out of brotherhood. I remember talking to someone who swore it was in there, because of how important it is to brotherhood specifically. Some people suspect that they cut it because they thought most people that saw brotherhood would have already seen the original.

idk if you noticed but the end of the episode does a time skip and is basically where they begin in the first episode. now you know why they were wandering in the desert flashback ova lol
