The question with Magi is whether Labyrinth of Magic and Kingdom of Magic should be seen as 2 seasons or 2 different shows.

The real big difference between Brimscythe and his buddies is age, Thordak, Umbrasyl, Raishan and Vorugal are Ancient dragons. The older you are as a dragon, the more powerful you become. Eventually when they get to a certain point a single dragon can wipe out an entire civilization on its own. Usually you'd never find several dragons working together, they're too prideful and territorial, which makes the Chroma Conclave (named so because all 5 of them are Chromatic Dragons) a massive issue for anyone. There was also a foreshadowing moment of the Conclave in the 2nd episode of the last season, the rug in General Dragon Douchebags house had 5 chromatic dragon symbols on it, representing each of them. Speaking of last season, i forgot to mention this during the episode itself because i was konked out when watching it, but an interesting little detail: You once assumed that the 6th barrel on Percy's gun that held no name was for him, you were in fact correct! I don't remember the exact moment but you can see his name flash on the barrel when he makes one of his kills, meaning suicide wasn't far from his own mind once he was through with everyone else, its debatable whether he'd have still gone through with it had Cass not survived

A separate thing, because i'm sleep deprived an understanding basic sentences is a struggle with my pea brain. You mentioned we'd be getting the poll as we're wrapping up S1 of Magi, i take it this means you do understand that there are two seasons, Kingdom of Magic being the 2nd, and we will be continuing on with it after S1?

The dragons we have here are 4 of the 5 normal chromatic dragons. There is a black dragon, which is acid boy. They tend to live in swamps and tend towards being evil and sadistic. There is a green dragon, which is the poisonous one. They tend to live in forests and be incredibly paranoid. We have a white dragon, the icey one. They tend to live in the tundra and have a tendency as being shown to be dumber in some dnd media. Then we have our big fire boy, the red dragon. They like hot places like volcanoes and have a tendency to be allround better than other dragons... but also arrogant to a fault. There is more to some of the above, but i am keeping info partial as it may end up being spoiler adjacent if i go in depth with each type.

The Chroma conclave has to do with the fact that they are chromatic dragons (as in different colors). Dragons have breath attacks based on their color, red dragons breath fire, black dragons acid, green dragons poison gas etc. Dragons are very independent and proud, they rarely team up with each other (why would they need to, each of them is strong enough to threaten a kingdom alone). They typically only do so if they have a common goal, and that's bad news for whoever has to deal with them.

They are probably not counting them correctly due to their different names. Magi has 2 seasons and 1 spin off. Labyrinth of Magic is the first season, Kingdom of Magic is the second season. Adventures of Sinbad is the spin off and is not required but is an interesting show nonetheless. I would highly suggest doing both seasons at the least.

So fun fact that I forgot to mention the last time the group fought a Dragon. Vex is a Ranger, who have a class feature called Favoured Enemy which among other things allows you to detect a certain type of creature of your choice within a certain range. In the show they decided to portray it as her getting headaches whenever Dragons are near.
