Luffy has definitely landed the most hits on Kaido which is impressive but the amount of damage Zoro has done in such few attacks is insane

I have mixed feelings about this episode; Don’t get me wrong it’s an awesome sequence for all the events happening on the roof but this episode bothers me. And I am not one who tends to find fault in things. So this episode 1027 and 1028 actually adapt the same chapter 1010, and that’s one of my favorite chapters in this arc. But Toei decided to split it into 2 parts. The direction in this episode was sloppy > First off I am glad you called out the BS with Prometheus going into the water. BECAUSE Toei changed it from the manga. What actually happens is Prometheus catches Big Mom right before she falls into the sea. It’s exactly like you said if Prometheus had gotten wet he would had been done. Also he probably would had died since he’s made from a DF. He likely would had sinked. This was such an unnecessary change and it dragged out > Secondly, people have mentioned this before in the comments. Toei dragging out scenes, this episode was filled with dragging. I personally feel like for 2/3 the episode was being dragged with Big Mom falling, then a flashback of her falling, and the Kaido having a flashback of Luffy being KO’d. Again usually I don’t mind it, but for this instance Toei decided to adapt half a chapter as opposed to just giving this episode a 10/10 with both Zoro and Luffy having their moments against Kaido like in the manga. > Besides the rant, I wanted to highlight Zoro and his awesome moment. So Kaido just confirmed Zoro has Conquerors Haki/Supreme King Haki!! That’s a HUGE moment as they are very few people who posses that haki. So now Luffy, Kid, and Zoro are the only ones on the Alliance who possess Supreme King Haki! Lastly, Zoro’s Ashura. We’ve seen Zoro use this attack only one other time in the series on Episode 300. It was during Enies Lobby when Zoro fought CP9 member Kaku the Giraffe 🦒. Here’s a throwback clip of it https://youtu.be/pmcKuBUII-0 But point being Ashura is Zoro’s Trump Card and he pulled it out on Kaido. This is one of the most badass moves in the entire series.

I never saw this episode/chapter as confirmation for Zoro's haki. I saw it similar, but more powerful tease as the shake of Onigashima where Brook mentions it. I'm Zoro fanboy, but still for me the confirmation was only when Zoro himself accepted/recognized it.

Like Brother E said, this is second time we see Zoro use Asura, first being in Enies Lobby. I didn't like how anime depicted the aura with flashy yellow color, for me it partly ruined the scene that I felt was very epic in manga and I was looking forward to the animation, but felt it was a let down. -_-

That would be horrible writing on oda’s part. It would take away the thing that makes conquerors special away. None of the strawhats besides zoro and obviously luffy strive to be someone at the top of the world ergo someone with kingly ambition.
