Pike's VA was still away at work during this time in the campaign but she tuned in via video chat for this part, which is why they had her astral project in instead of being there in person. The connection was also shaky so she occasionally disconnected so they just explained it with her astral projection being interrupted at times. Clerics are very strong vs the undead, they have an ability to cause all the nearby undead to flee from them and at higher levels can just destroy undead around them. Very much a class you want on your side when fighting a hoard of skelies.

It should be noted, that as strong as Pike seems, its mainly because shes up against her main enemy as a cleric: Undead. Clerics are absolute hammers of god against unholy creatures, but it'd be a different story if they had a swarm of regular bandits coming at them. Still, you can't deny that in the case of a vampiric bastard and a necromantic bitch raising zombies against you, shes shines, literally!

I love how the backstory for Sylas and Delilah is that, with Sylas dying of disease to save the one she love Delilah turned to a dark god, turned him into a vampire and pledged her servitutute to him for saving Sylas. Its just so wierldy human (I am in no waying excusing all the fucked up shit they did after the fact though). Also its further reinforce in this episode that Delilah's main goal is just to keep Sylas safe as he wants to enter the battle when they start to lose but she stops him.

Fun fact. DnD often has travel segments between destinations and the journey taken in the show isn't the full journey from the live game. Part of their journey took them throw some frozen mountains and the group came across an area that was known to have frost giants, but the giants were missing. Those missing giants appeared in whitestone as the undead giants. Also, can't blame Vax for shooting his shot with Keyleth. If i'm about to die, might as well try. It is surprising you of all people don't mix up Vex and Vax. I almost did so just typing this.

Yeah, interestingly enough Talesin Jaffe, the voice actor Percy who originally played him in the Campaign. Was able to say that ridiculously long name every-time without fucking it up. While none of the others ever could. It became something of a running joke. Kind of like Vash the Stampede's full name.
