WE FINALLY MADE IT BOYS!!! 5 v. 2 Handicap Match against the Emperors!! IT’S ROOF PIECE TIME!! One thing that needs to be acknowledged about this episode is that amazing scene with Kid Luffy and Gol D. Roger. When Yamato realized they both said the same thing, Luffy and Roger are NOT saying “They want to be King of The Pirates!” Being King of the Pirates are their goals, but its not their dream. We don’t know what is Luffy and Roger’s shared dream. That is the ultimate secret besides what is the One Piece. This is probably one of the greatest episodes of anime, you’ll look back at this moment years from now. And who knows maybe something in the future can top this iconic episode.🥁🥁😁

Glad to see you're having so much fun with this. As someone who reads the manga I don't watch every one piece episode as most of them tend to be over-saturated with filler material, but I do keep tabs on them and mentally bookmark key moments that I know are coming up to watch the day that episode releases. This episode and next episode are definitely major highlights I had been waiting for and that definitely don't disappoint. It's going to be fun seeing your reaction to some future episodes that are not out yet but I know are going to have you going nuts over them.

It was only mentioned once a couple hundred episodes back but Kaido attempted to go to Marineford and was stopped from doing so by Shanks. But we aren’t privy to any details of their encounter. That was the “Red Hair’s interruption” that Kaido mentioned

I've got to give you props here dude, I remember when the Goosh was at the Ace/Luffy/Sabo backstory, and you did a whole write-up talking about Luffy's dream beyond being pirate king. At that time we were still early in wano in the manga, so I and most other people thought you were reaching, and that Luffy simply wanted to be the pirate king. It was a pretty rare theory even amongst the greater One Piece community, to the point where you could Google it and not find anyone talking about it. However, this part proved you right, and I for one cant wait to learn more about it.

To think we were first introduced to Vivre Cards back in Alabasta, where Ace gave Luffy a piece! And then during Thriller Bark we learn more about them. And now we see where Ace originally got his! "Red-Haired's interruption" refers to what some marines said during Marineford, how Shanks somehow stopped Kaido from going to Marineford!! That was great moment how anime depicted it; Luffy just casually walking past Kaido & Big Mom, not caring about them at all in that moment, then cutting from how Luffy saw the Nine Red Scabbards before the raid and how they are now! And how there was almost no background music until it slowly builds up towards Luffy's Red Roc and then the instrumental of original opening starts playing!!!

Kid, Killer, Law, Zoro, & Luffy vs Big Mom and Kaido; it's literally The Worst Generation vs The Old Generation. I love how Luffy walks past both Kaido and Big Mom with no fear or hesitation, they taunted him and he ignored them because attending to Kin was more important. Kin crying and pleading with Luffy always tugs at me, especially when he thanks Luffy and passes out.
