I mentioned this on one of the previous episodes, but that was a while back. The more cybernetics you add to your body the greater the chances of rejection or other adverse affects. When this exceeds the person's limits it causes cyberpsychosis (insanity). It almost always results in a large amount of casualties since they are usually loaded up with dangerous cybernetics in the first place.

So glad to be back to this, I absolutely loved cyberpunk. I feel bad for the studio though, theres a lot of years where this would have been a shoe-in for anime of the year, but MAN there were some heavy hitters in 2022
