I feel like pointing out the ending of that story is far less "romantic" and more pity in the manga lol, believe it or not that broken English is actually pretty faithful to the japanese voices, except Shampoo speaks broken japanese instead obviously, it's weird but you can even tell in the sub she's not fluent in Japanese just by listening.

Yeah its great attention to detail and I really do love the ost for the show, also chrome thoughts on the Japanese drowned man spring arc, im kinda tempted to skip it since its so long compared to its short side story origins in the manga and is kinda dry

oh that one with the foxes becoming men, oh wow I forgot they turned that story into 3 episodes, honestly it really could have just been 1, umm, it's still probably worth it honestly, there's good moments in the arc so I'd say maybe still do it, it could be shorter obviously, but I'd say that about a lot of the things the anime adapts from the manga.

True theres gems in alot of arcs stretched it just feels hard to justify the time sync for that arc especially , might need to rewatch the arc and weigh it out fresh from watching it
