In this episode, the Nickname of Gintoki is a different translation from here on, which is "White Yaksha" now. Before it was translated as "White Demon / White Knight" and now it's White Yaksha, just to let you know :))

Infodump: -IRL, the mimawarigumi was formed after the Shinsengumi as a police force to protect high ranking individuals. Unlike the Shinsengumi, was was made up of mostly low class ronin, the Mimawarigumi was made up almost entirely of high ranking samurai and relatives of nobles. Indicative of this difference in status, the Mimawargumi’s territory was the Imperial palace district while the Shinsengumi’s was the red-light district. - Sasaki Isaboro is based on Sasaki Tadasaburo, the leader of the Mimawarigumi -Imai Nobume is a female version of Imai Noburo, a member of the Mimawarigumi. -Sasaki Tetsunosuke is based on ichimura Tetsunosuke, the IRL Hijikata’s page.
