yeah one big difference I'll say between the manga and anime is Ranma and Akane are far less antagonistic towards each other in the manga, the anime adds in a lot more scenes of them fighting each other, honestly it's weird, for some reason they do that when adapting a lot of Rumiko's series, still a fun adaption though, also I wouldn't be surprised if Genma's signs gag was partly what inspired Elizabeth in Gintama's own ones, this is one of the series Gintama's creator probably grew up on given the timing.
