I think it was a bit of a cop out of the author to spring at the last moment that Haruhime was still a virgin. This arc was built around the fact that she thought she was damaged goods, and would bring misfortune to others due to being a prostitute, but had her mindset changed by Bell and her friends actions. They didn't care what happened in her past or what her profession was, they still cared about her as a person. To go through all that character development and then go "surprise! turns out you were a virgin all along so don't worry about it" feels like it kinda belittled the whole point that was being made, that it didn't matter if she was or not. Granted, I think this may have been done by the author as a defensive measure. There have been toxic fans in the past that have harassed authors for having female characters in their stories that turned out to not be virgins (weirdos gotta have their fantasies of pure maidens etc). So this may have been done to avoid having to deal with that stuff.

I get what your saying but I dontnecessarily think it was a cop out. When she was in the bed with Bell just seeing his collarbone alone was too much for her and she faints. So I would think the only way she wouldn't be a virgin is if someone did you know what while she was unconscious.

I mean, there are a lot of assholes in this series. Soma familia, apollo familia, a bunch of random adventurers decided to kidnap Hestia just so they could watch Bell get beat up publicly when they were on floor 18. There are plenty of other awful people in later seasons as well. I wouldn't put it beyond some guy deciding to do it with a prostitute after she passed out. Guys take advantage of drunk/passed out girls in real life.
