I'm just wondering could Asta have broken the Queen's curse with his sword, like he did with elves, or would that have alerted Megicula that something's amiss?

When Luck is actually so scared of someone that he does not want to fight them, you know you have a monster on your hands. I also find the queen very endearing and a much more suited person to rule much like Julius. A shame that King Clover is so useless. :P If Mars survived I am sure he'd be willing to aid Asta and The Heart Kingdom. I'd also have suggested they track down the elves as Patry has fought one before and we know Vetto, Fana, and Raia are no push overs. I'd get every person I could find, especially if Megicula here can single handedly conquer a nation.

I do think Megicula would sense it and if possible expedite the process or it would give it an indication that Clover and Heart are plotting together and make their time table much more crunched. Either way it'd be a risk they should not take.

****SPOILERS*** SORTA. -+--+++++h--- to answer that question in a round about way, the answer is that anti magic will negate the magic itself but not the effects or mana that the magic has. So yes Asta could negate the magic from being cast, but the effect or damage like the fact the queen will die in a year is already done. Think about Asta's cursed arms he can negate the magic being cast but not the damage done to his arms from the curse. This is why curse magic is so strong and one of the few magics which stand a chance against Asta's anti magic.

@Anthony but Asta didn't have the Demon Destroyer sword (or whatever it's called) when his arms were cursed...
