I was hoping it would not be humans who attacked the elves, but of course it was the royalty. Why am I not really surprised?

Good thing at least one elf lived long enough to hear the nearby Clover Royalty having a cartoonishly villainous monologue about the murder of the elves and one of their princesses. This also shows us how the royals got so much magical power later in their years seeing how they literally took the elves magic from them mid genocide spree.

If I am not mistaken this is also took place before Houses Vermillion and Silva existed. I think only House Clover was actively in power (The current King's house) Which as we can tell based on the current king, the bloodline has not produced any reputable heirs. I say let the Vermillions take the throne, Fuego would make for a fantastic king.
