Noelle's new look is awesome, and so are her abilities! Big Bro's apology was cool, albeit, a bit late!

The series did a really good job at setting up Nozel (front hair) as the only redeemable sibling, whenever he would go after Noelle he was always a lot less petty and he at least had the skills to back up his arrogance unlike the other 2 He was still a huge asshole so I guess a better way of saying it would be he’s set up as being less worse than the other 2

Noelle's growth is one of the best writing arcs from this series. In a scale of 1-10 it's at least a 2(2 being second best), behind the Asta-Yuno rivalry.

Something you may notice is that in retrospect as the series went on, they showed more and more of Nozel not being a bad person in small hints and doses. Recalling those moments I think makes the apology work a lot better

Nozel had good intentions and just went about them in the most asshole way possible. Letting his siblings abuse Noelle despite being the eldest and strongest is a pretty odd way of protecting her. Even joining in on the verbal abuse every now and then. I get that he didn't think she'd be strong so he wanted her away from the battlefield, but a conversation would've been so much more viable than years of traumatizing abuse. He's still redeemable, and definitely much moreso than the other two siblings, but he better back up that apology with actions from now on.

It irks me the way that Nebra and Solid keep on running their mouths about Noelle even while she’s fighting to protect them. Those two are the absolute worst characters in all of Black Clover and they should’ve just been left to die in this whole fight lol. Anyways, it was cool seeing this side of Nozel. He never really went that low on my hated list just because he always showed some decent qualities, such as his respect for Fuegoleon when he was taken out and nearly killed, for instance, and also, you may have noticed how he would give off little acknowledgements towards Asta every time he accomplished any type of feat.

Also, Noelle resembling her mother’s title of the “Dancing Princess of the Battlefield” is one of the most coolest moments in this series. If you recall back at the hot springs, Sisgoleon said so herself that Noelle’s mom was the one person that she could never defeat. And we’re talking Sisgoleon here lol, the same person that completely dominated Raia, the strongest Third Eye, and also couldn’t be brought down by 5 elves fighting her at the same time.

Nozel, (Front hair) is pretty interesting thanks to all the recontextualizing this episode did. From what this episode has told us, the primary reason for shunning Noelle and pushing her away as well as assigning her to a specific squad was in a very misguided effort to keep her out of danger. Perhaps he saw her lack of talent differently from her other siblings. Her other siblings saw it as a disgrace and a weakness to poke at with their meanspirited teasing. Nozel might have viewed it as something that would have gotten her killed since royalty generally didn't believe training would make up for that. As such Nozel pushed here away in order to keep her from joining the Silver Eagle which is a higher ranked squad which would undoubtably get more dangerous assignments than a lower ranked squad like the Black Bulls. End of day, they all underestimated her, and she proved his fears were unfounded. Now I think it is very important to look at this through a, out of story lens. I think this twist was not planned from the start, maybe it was thought up midway but nonetheless it is in the story now. I don't believe all of Nozel's words can be 100% recontextualized to being him protecting her. There should have been more moments of Nozel displaying a dislike with his other sibling's behavior toward Noell, at most he should have been a character that stops it when it happens in broad daylight (in front of him) but his other siblings would do it behind his back, that is if they were gonna do this and make it more believable. Like, make him cold to her but he will show a bazar protective side that confuses everyone since it contradicts his cold treatment to her. However regardless of what actually happens I believe Nozel was the right character to apply this development toward. Out of all of Noell's siblings, Nozel was easily the nicest out of the bunch. (using the word nice very lousily here) Solid and Nebra go out of their way to torment and demean Noell. Like we get clear examples here of Solid splashing her with his spells and Nebra outright damaging household items in order to insult her sister. The worse Nozel has said is basically "Go Away" with some additions to calling her a disgrace. While this is horribly mean, it is however far from the worse that her other sibling's behavior, where they seek her out and bully her. Besides that, Nozel has redeemable traits like having respect for his rival Fuegoleon and his sheer disdain for whoever hurt him so bad. What's more he outright disciplined his siblings when they insulted him when he was defeated. These details made him the best character in the family to be the first to acknowledge Noell, accept her and apologize regardless of how sloppy the twist may have been, I do think it was the right direction to go with when it came to Nozel. Sorry for the lengthy comment but I just had a lot to say about this topic.
