Oh no... Not the legends themselves Ben, Brad, and Eric! It is said they only appear in generic history once every thousand years! No, but for real, at least the other jobbers had names that were a little more unique. XD Idk if you noticed, but every magic knight ran to Asta's side, except Yuno, but he knew Asta was fine. Meanwhile Langris was left alone on the ground. Langris' worst fear has come to realisation; he's alone. Dood deserved it though and even though officially the match was a draw, I think Asta still won the grudge aspect of it since Langris was brought to heel and humiliated. So victory via poetic justice! Also, you keep saying for the king to shut up and I keep asking if the protagonists give the villains air miles when they hit them so hard they take flight until they hit an object that breaks their momentum :P

Yeah, it's clear at this point that we might have some filler tournament fighters. When you have a couple fights where one side is filled with recognizable characters, and the others just looks like extras, then you already know who's gonna win. This tournament is kinda stuck with that though, there are other magic knights besides our main cast so it's more believable that we have these no name nobodies fighting. Although perhaps they could have made some new characters for this tournament and just chosen to utilize them later, just so we aren't bloated too much by these characters that are only here to fill up the tournament roster. Like for this arc we really only get the mushroom guy who roots for Noel and Zerx but they're not really enough to fill out the three-man teams without throwing in some extras. Of course, the arc does good with exploring our main cast and other lesser used characters like that captain guy.
