Xerx is clearly anti-hero material. He's an asshole, but he can back his bark up with his bite unlike most nobles and royalty. That usually leads to viewers coming to at least respect the character's abilities even if their personability leaves a lot to be desired. Vegeta often is my go to for the status quo anti-hero since he was ruthless and cared for no one but himself up until he and Bulma formed a complex relationship and he became frenimies with Goku. But even then he still had his Vegeta-isms and was still a badass. Same can be said of the likes of Alucard from Hellsing, Stain from MHA, Kenny from Bleach, Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho, etc. Haveing looked more at her, I'm starting to share your appreciation of Sol even though I think she's fixated on Charlotte aka we be barking up the wrong tree.(Fellow BC viewers fell free to correct me, but those are the vibes I get)
