Just in case you didn’t notice this during Yami’s flashbacks of when he met Julius… But Julius was actually the captain of the Aqua Deers (Rill’s squad) and therefore, since he was the one to recruit them, it was also the squad that Yami and Vangeance belonged to before becoming captains.

Well Rill doesn’t really have any real battle experience like Yami and the other captains. Unlike him, they’ve all already participated in wars vs the other kingdoms. But still… just his magic attribute that he has, is wayyy to OP on its own. Rill’s magic arsenal is practically boundless in how he can use it.
