Lol i did even see it drop, the nekoken or cat fist/cat fu is a fun little cherry on top to all if ranmas problems . I love how genmas go to solution is literally pawning ranma and you kinda gotta respect the hustle with his disguises lmao. As for the cat just do a little thinking on a recurring plot devoce of the show and another similarly expressive pet who hangs around ranma and akane ½ the time and im sure you'll figure out whats going on with the purple cat

This was a very interesting episode. Ranma is revealed to have a fear of cats and that fear brings out new abilities for Ranma to subconsciously utilize. This relationship itself is very cute seeing as both characters in the relationship are very Tsundere for each other. Also, very cute is the fact that Ranma's true feelings leak out in cat form, seeing as he's quite comfortable with Akane, enough so to calm him down from his cat state. Like they both seem to dislike each other but there are moments where Akane and Ranma show they might be more interesting in each other than they let on. Like when they both get angry and jealous when a member of the opposite (and sometimes the same) sex makes a move on them. Both have big examples like when Ranma flicks a Cat Cake at the skater guy who was trying to steal a kiss from Akane or when Akane gets angry when Shampoo gets affectionate toward Ranma. Then there's the moments where they both (in their own way) try to cheer each other up when their other is feeling down or especially how they will sometimes worry about each other when one or the other is in danger. Ranma threatening Skater boy that he'll kill him if he tries to touch Akane is a big example of this. Since Tsundere's are a sort of soft spot for me, this relationship is a goldmine for me.

On a side note, I noticed something potentially interesting that I didn't notice when I first watched the show. It's during the scene where Cat Fu Ranma attacks Kuno but his minion distracts him. Like Ranma goes in to scratch Kuno but is distracted by Kuno's minion before he gets jumped on and then leaves the building. However, Kuno appears to have scratch marks on his face as if there was a scene of Ranma scratching him that seems to be missing. Now in the comments of one of the previous reaction episodes someone mentions that some scenes in the manga were left out for reason I don't remember. Now this is all speculation on my part, but I wonder if there was supposed to be a scene in between Ranma jumping at Kuno and Kuno's minion distracting Ranma. Maybe the possible scene of Ranma scratching Kuno was disliked and was omitted, and the animators forgot they weren't supposed to draw the scratch marks on Kuno's face. Just something I just now noticed, and thought was interesting.
