I'm impressed you were able to connect that the little girl in his flashback was in fact Hinowa. Sometimes it takes you a while to pick up on things like that. So that kind of screws up my comment for the day. Though yeah, Hinowa is an incredibly good person and clearly never lost that goodness, no matter what she went through. People like that are rare, but they do exist (and should be nominated for Sainthood as far as I'm concerned). After all Hosen put her through, she turned the other cheek. When she had more reason than anyone to want to see him dead.

I deeply admire Hinowa for this. I certainly think people should pay when they wrong others, but I don't believe anyone should die in despair. Even bad people. Even if they may not follow the same philosophy, I want to lead by example. I'm not saying every person should die content, nor is everyone capable of that. If you live a selfish life, you won't be content at the end, but I simply don't want anyone to despair at their death.
