This show does a good job at showing that between the empire and alliance, there's no clear good side or bad side. The people in power want to maintain and grow their power, and will sacrifice those that follow them to accomplish that. They just use different methods and messages to influence their side.

god is the strategy great in this series, both in and out of battle it's fun watching these minds do battle, they do a great job of fleshing things out, the complexity is a lot more fleshed out then what you've seen in shonen at the Goosh. I'd love to get this into one of the polls but unfortunately the series is just too niche for current audiences, it's a brilliant series and it is influential, but because of a mix of its age and it not being the easiest to find it doesn't have the largest reach in the west.

This show is actually even a bit like Gintama in the sense that it just gets better and better, oh and Trunith is actually a quite interessting character(well like countless of other LoGH characters), he is a bit like a less power-restrained Donald Trump(in younger) with a very high IQ and great acting skills XD.
